Over the past few years I’ve been building custom pre-amps for friends and colleagues but I felt the need to share my vision on a grander, more accessible scale. So, I started Michael Pope Design, as the outlet for a new line of products that I believe offer any bassist the tools they need to find their voice - regardless of skill or style.

The MPP line of external, rack mountable bass preamplifiers represents the marriage of my experience as both a world-traveling bassist and as an electronics designer. I know that my sound is in here and I think I can honestly say that your sound is in here as well!
