It's a 4 band circuit with Bass, Treble, Low Mid, and High Mid. You have 2 frequency options for each band which can be set with jumpers I provide you. You can also choose to only use 1 of the Mids for a three band setup, or no Mids at all for a two band.

You get your choice of a volume/volume or a balancer/Master volume setup.

You also get your choice of a stacked Bass/Treble control, or separate Bass and Treble controls.

There are lots of plug-and-play modules that can be added easily for an extra charge which will expand the preamp's range of usefulness. Stuff like midrange frequency switches and passive tone controls. E-mail me with questions about those.

It comes all wired and ready to install with instructions. There is NO soldering required for most installations. Pickups hook up with screw terminals.

Hey everybody!  Thanks for visiting my site.  Here's the latest news about what I’m up to with Michael Pope Design.  I truly believe in transparency in business dealings and would like to encourage you to read the entire page below.  Unlike many others, I don’t feel the need to only tell you what’s in a deal for you.  It’s no secret that businesses need to make money.  So let’s just handle it straight-on!

As everyone knows, we’re in a bit of an economic mess in this country at the moment.  As a result, everyone is being a bit more careful with their money.  It’s not only an issue of how much we spend.  It’s how we spend it.  For example, there’s a growing interest in keeping money in the US and patronizing small businesses to keep them operating, helping to avoid lay-offs of the people who depend on their jobs to pay their mortgages and bills.   While I have no employees, my suppliers have many and most are US companies.

No one is truly immune to the economic condition and Michael Pope Design is no exception.  While things are sufficient for me at the moment, I’ve been feeling the need to boost sales a little bit while doing a small part to help the greater good at the same time.  I have plans to add some great features to the MPP preamps as well, which means some time “back at the drawing board”.  So my marketing department (that’s me) and the board of directors (also me) came up with what I think will turn out to be a great opportunity that will benefit Michael Pope Design, you, the customer, and on a small scale, the local economy.

Because of the economy, many businesses are offering great rates on services in order to keep their employees working through this rough patch.  As a result, I've been able to negotiate some tasty deals on some of the custom stuff in the MPP's and can pass that on to you.  At the same time, I'll be adding some key features to the MPP's like an FX loop (series or parallel selectable), pre/post switch for the DI's, and a balanced input for the headphone driver, further improving it's flexibility.  These are things I've included as options for some people.  Now they'll be standard.  The basic preamp circuit will remain as it is.
